where we found this majestic period stone house that has many original
features including a beautiful and imposing porch, shuttered windows and
majestic chimneys. The location couldn't be better: being just three
miles from either Bembridge with its quiet harbour and safe sandy
beaches or the bustling atmosphere of Sandown with all its amenities and
fabulous beach. There are two apartments here at Mulberry Lawn. The top
floor apartment has a balcony with panoramic views across Brading Downs
to the west and across the valley to Bembridge, and cheeky sea views to
the east. The ground floor apartment looks out across the pretty gardens.
This house is full of atmosphere and Kate is a fabulously friendly host
who really has thought of everything

A wonderful mix of tradition and modernity that simply flows effortlessly throughout this amazing house which can accommodate up to fourteen people comfortably. A remarkable creation by the owner Sue Rogerson who is a very talented interior designer, and doesn't it just show. What a superb venue for sophisticated, genteel house gatherings this beautiful house makes & includes a daily housekeeping service.

Park Road Cottage
This superb two-bedroom holiday cottage is just a five
minutes from all the vibrant atmosphere of Cowes High Street. It is
another stunning interior design creation by Sue Rogerson, so you know
it's just fabulous. The whole house is simply immaculate and fitted out
with many extras including all the little things that you so rarely find
but always need. The cottage has a comfortable and friendly vibe about
it that makes it feel very cosy and inviting, wonderful for romantic
breaks on this very special and unique island.
Freshwater
This handsome bed & breakfast sits quietly near Freshwater Bay, an area of outstanding beauty and generally recognised as the quieter part of this beautiful isle and provides accommodation that is both elegant and comfortable. One of the bedrooms is a suite with a private sitting room. What we really love about this super house is that amongst all this obvious comfort, you will not find an ounce of stuffiness. The atmosphere is both friendly and very relaxed & breakfasting in the super farmhouse kitchen dining room is fabulous. Jacquie is a terrific friendly host who will even lend you one of their all-terrain bikes so that you can explore this beautiful area.

What a fabulous find this little bed & breakfast is.
Immaculate en-suite bedrooms named Moon River, Darling Fred and Holly
Golightly. There is a pretty dining room where you can enjoy Richard and
Tiffany's legendary breakfasts. This little gem is located in Bembridge
village on the east side of the island with its stunning coastline. A
really friendly bed and breakfast for those of you who prefer a cosier
atmosphere. Richard & Tiffany really are superb and friendly hosts who
both strive to make your stay with them special.
Seaview
Sat amidst the tranquillity of the seaside village of Seaview is where we found this amazing hotel. It really is Chelsea House chic with Kensington class food by the sea. There is a plethora of individually styled bedrooms, suites and apartments, all of which just ooze originality, style and luxury. They also have a self catering option for the more independent guest called Myrtle Cottage, a fabulous little hideaway that rocks. It has to be the chicest fisherman's cottage we have ever seen. The whole atmosphere in the hotel is warm, friendly and welcoming. Nothing seems too much trouble for Andrew and his incredibly hardworking staff. If you are looking for originality together with luxury by the sea, try the Seaview - fabulously different.

Set amongst the vibrant village-like atmosphere of Union Street Ryde, is Yelf's Hotel that has been welcoming weary travellers, holidaymakers and locals alike for 200 years. Talking of locals, hearing the happy and gentle conversation drift from the bar as you wander through the pleasingly quirky layout of this hotel just adds to the incredibly friendly atmosphere here. The bedrooms are comfortable, well-equipped and immaculately clean, and the friendly, helpful team of staff all wear uniforms so that you won't find yourself asking another guest for a tray of tea. The food here is simply superb with a choice of bar or restaurant meals, and dining in the traditional style restaurant with its immaculately laid tables with crisp white linen is an enjoyable experience. Good old fashioned service is still alive and kicking. A great little stay.

Ashey, Ryde
This beautiful 17th century farmhouse and its 3 stunning cottages lie on 250 acres of a working mixed farm on peaceful pastured slopes looking across Ashey Valley with its ancient oaks, ponds and parkland scenery The three beautiful cottages were borne out of an ancient barn, cart shed and a piggery, all of which have been lovingly restored without detriment to their fine heritage. Each cottage has its own unique character and charm, some with pleasingly quirky rooms, slate and wooden floors, beautiful exposed beams and brickwork, and amongst all this ancient architecture Alison has provided fabulous furnishings and facilities to ensure maximum comfort. Each cottage has a garden or patio area and some provide cheeky views of the sea.
